Ultrasonic Welding Machine Production Certified to ISO 9001

Ultrasonic Welding Machine Production Certified to ISO 9001

Dongguan, Guangdong — The quality management system of Guangdong Linqi Ultrasonic Co., Ltd. (LINQISONIC) has been certified to GB/T 19001-2016 / ISO 9001:2015. The certificate, number 60721Q11420R0S, was issued by Beijing Tongbiao Authentication Center, with a certification scope of "production of ultrasonic equipment (plastic welding, metal welding)".

A system certification, not a product certification

The two are often conflated. Product certification applies to a specific model and answers whether that machine meets a given safety or performance requirement. System certification applies to how a company is organised, and answers whether it has a reliable method for making the next machine the same as the last one.

ISO 9001 is the latter. It does not rate the performance of any individual machine. It audits whether documented rules exist for design and development, purchasing, production process control, inspection, handling of non-conforming product, corrective action and record traceability — and whether those rules are actually followed.

For a buyer, the distinction matters. The performance of a single machine can be achieved through tuning and selection; consistency across a batch cannot be faked. When a customer orders several units of the same model, or needs spare parts and process parameters to remain traceable three years later, the system is what carries that weight.

Scope covers both product lines

The certification scope is stated as "production of ultrasonic equipment (plastic welding, metal welding)" — both categories are included.

The two lines differ substantially in process principle. Plastic welding generates heat by friction to melt and re-solidify the joint interface; the controlling variables are amplitude, time, pressure and weld depth. Metal welding is a solid-state process in which the base metal never melts: high-frequency vibration disperses the surface oxide so the metals bond directly, and the controlling variables are energy, pressure and weld area. Incoming inspection, tooling and final test methods are different for each.

Covering both in a single scope means the quality system has to establish controls for each process route separately, rather than applying one generic procedure to both.

Quality control built into the equipment itself

The system governs the production process; the equipment delivered to customers carries its own monitoring capability, a design principle consistent across the LINQISONIC range.

  • Dream S servo ultrasonic plastic welder — quality monitoring with upper and lower limits and NG alarm, real-time weld curve display, and six control modes: time, energy, power, absolute depth, relative depth and pressure;
  • ideal 6 intelligent ultrasonic generator — six-dimensional quality monitoring across the same six variables, with an integrated high-precision load cell and magnetic scale, and 100 stored recipes selectable in one step;
  • Dream Q pneumatic ultrasonic plastic welder — 23 monitored fault conditions and USB data export, so process records can be retained on the customer's side.

Customers therefore receive not only a machine produced under a certified system, but a machine capable of recording each weld cycle — which matters particularly for automotive and medical customers who must submit process data downstream.

About the company

Guangdong Linqi Ultrasonic Co., Ltd. is headquartered in Zhangmutou, Dongguan, Guangdong. The company develops, manufactures and supplies ultrasonic welding equipment across three lines — ultrasonic plastic welding, ultrasonic metal welding and ultrasonic cutting — serving customers in automotive, electronics and appliances, new energy, medical, packaging and nonwovens.
